Integration Consultant, New York City


As part of implementing our software, we provide a range of consulting services including Systems Integration. The speed and effectiveness of these integrations is critical to the success of our client implementations.
We are looking to hire a talented and highly motivated Integration Consultant to work from our New York City office. This position reports to the US Technical Consulting Services Manager. As an Integration Consultant, you will work with our engagement consulting teams to help clients implement and use our software effectively. You will also take the initiative to help develop better approaches to delivery and re-use of interfaces and other product extensions. Other responsibilities include:
  • Facilitate discovery meetings with clients to determine interface business requirements
  • Design and document a feasible solution for the client based on identified business requirements
  • Implement deliverables outlined in design of solution accepted by client, using the Pervasive ETL toolset and development environment
  • Provide ongoing support of implemented interfaces
  • Produce custom reports for clients using the Artemis reporting tool, SQL and VBA,
The following requirements are essential for this role:
  • Minimum of four years experience in consulting for enterprise software company.
  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, with personal attributes of enthusiasm and team work.
  • Strong experience of database concepts, logical data modeling (E-R diagrams), SQL and PL/SQL, and DB tools such as Quest’s Toad and CA’s ERwin.
  • Strong experience performance tuning for Oracle and SQL Server RDBMS.
  • Strong experience writing DB stored procedures and triggers.
  • Experience developing corporate database interfaces using ETL tools (especially Pervasive/Data Junction), EAI tools and industry messaging formats (EDI, XML, web services etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of VB as well as a familiarity with Java programming languages.
  • Must be familiar with ERP applications and data models, such as PeopleSoft, Oracle and SAP
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to client locations throughout the US to help install and support interfaces and custom reports.
