Artemis International and C/S Solutions Form Strategic Alliance To Bring Industry-Leading Project Management Business Intelligence Solutions To Market

Lockheed Martin Already Using Combined Solution to Better Manage Projects and Foster Improved Communication

BOULDER, CO and MANHATTAN BEACH, CA - March 21, 2002 -- Artemis International Solutions Corporation (OTCBB: AISC.OB), one of the world’s leading providers of enterprise-based project and resource collaboration software solutions, and C/S Solutions, Inc., the world’s leading producer of integrated analytical tools for cost, schedule, and risk management, today announced they have formed a strategic partnership to provide customers an integrated suite of project management business intelligence solutions.
Suzanne M. West, Sr. Manager, JSF Cost & Schedule Management stated, "The combination of wInsight and the Artemis Views toolset provides Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company (LM Aero) with unprecedented visibility into the status of our projects across multiple companies and sites.
The tools allowed us, LM Aero, Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems, to interactively perform weekly cost and schedule assessment of the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Concept Development Phase (CDP) with our customer. This capability clearly helped the Lockheed Martin Team win the JSF competition, the largest procurement in the history of the Department of Defense. Earned Value Management supported by the wInsight/Artemis Views tool set is the standard practice adopted by LM Aero projects."
Under the agreement, Artemis and C/S Solutions will coordinate their activities in providing an integrated project management solution to new opportunities as well as to their respective customer bases.
"Artemis’ world-class project management solution includes earned value as a methodology to measure performance from a cost and scheduling standpoint," stated Steve Herrmann, vice president, worldwide marketing, Artemis. "C/S Solutions’ wInsight product is the defacto standard used by the aerospace and defense community for analyzing summary earned value information in text, graphical and Web-based formats. Our joint solution ensures customers have access to one of the most powerful analytical and performance measurement solutions on the market for the analysis and execution of complex projects."
The Artemis-C/S Solutions partnership was first implemented by the Lockheed Martin Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Team. The combined toolset was used and proven in the highly competitive Concept Development Phase of the JSF program to help Lockheed Martin manage the project and communicate status among their team members and the Department of Defense. The Artemis Views tools are used by that team as the underlying scheduling/cost system; the wInsight tools from C/S Solutions provide analytical capabilities and the ability to share the information among the teams.
"With the proven concept at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, both Artemis and C/S Solutions are now poised to bring that same successful integration to other firms," said Nicholas Pisano, sales operations manager of C/S Solutions, "The combination of Artemis Views and C/S Solutions’ wInsight and its associated products will provide customers with a comprehensive and integrated suite of products that will provide them with effective control over project performance."
