Generali Vienna Group is planning with Artemis 7    Munich, 27 Aust 2003 - From the initial concept to solution delivery: The Generali Vienna Group uses Artemis 7, the newest solution from Artemis International. Artemis 7 is a web-based software solution for extensive and integrated portfolio and project management. Due to increased project complexity, the insurance and financial services group decided to implement an integrated project portfolio and project management solution. After having undertaken a wide market analysis, the group chose Artemis. Artemis 7 perfectly integrates and complements the Generali Vienna Group’s existing internal solutions, and will be deployed for the first time to support of the annual planning process for 2004.
“With Artemis 7 we have found a solution that reproduces our entire development process from the initial concept to final solution delivery”, stated Dr. August Fischer, Head of the project management office at Generali. “Management, controlling and reporting are supported by a central database. Projects therefore can be delivered in a more timely and cost effective manner.”
Artemis 7 is used in the project management office (PMO) and in the individual development divisions / groups. It is made available to all program and project managers to plan and control their projects and ‘change requests’. In total 400 employees will work with Artemis 7.
The Artemis 7 web-based software solution is being used for the first time to support the annual planning process for 2004. Artemis and the Generali Vienna Group have been successfully working together for several years in the project management field.
