ARTEMIS REPORTS MORE SUCCESS FOR INVESTMENT PLANNING and CONTROL SOLUTIONS in ASIA PACIFIC


Newport Beach, Calif., May 18, 2004. Artemis announces the continuing expansion of its business in the Asia Pacific region with a series of recent successes across different industry sectors.
POSCO, South Korea, the world’s biggest steel mill company has chosen to implement the Artemis investment management and control solution to initially manage both IT and Process Innovation investment projects. The next stage will extend the use of the Artemis solution to other areas including Facilities management and R&D projects, thereby becoming a complete enterprise solution.
Other recent customers include Sambo Computer Co., the second largest PC manufacturing company (Desktop, Notebooks) in South Korea, with a significant export activity to the US and European markets.  Sambo run their R&D center in Korea with 250 people, whereas factories are located in China and South America. Artemis 7 will be used for project management in the R&D Center and will interface to SAP/R3 to address the management requirements of a typical portfolio of over 100 projects.
Sapura Telecommunications Berhad, Malaysia is a leading publicly listed technology based company in Malaysia employing some 2200 people, and focusing on the domestic and global telecommunications, IT, automotive, defense and energy markets.  Sapura is a fast growing company that has seen a very significant increase in the number new projects over recent years, with the associated challenges that this represents. A 400 user Artemis 7 solution will be deployed to manage an extensive portfolio of revenue earning Telecommunications and IT projects.
