ARTEMIS SURPASSES 600,000 USERS WORLDWIDE Company Adds 30 New Customers in First Half 2005 NEWPORT BEACH, CA – October 17, 2005 – Artemis International Solutions Corporation (OTCBB: AMSI), global provider of Investment Planning and Control™ solutions, has surpassed the 600,000 worldwide user mark with 30 new customers signed in first half 2005. The most recent additions to the already impressive list of customers includes France Telecom, Pfizer, Hitachi, Raytheon, Toyota Australia , LG Micron, LG Chem, Cummins, China Telecom, and NAVSEA, with the vast majority choosing the most recent release of Artemis 7. At the same time, the number of customers focusing on the company’s leading solution for New Product Development (NPD) continues to grow at an aggressive pace.
“The pace at which we continue to grow demonstrates both the excellence of the Artemis solution, as well as the growing demand for management-facing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions,” said Patrick Ternier, president and CEO of Artemis International Solutions Corp. “In order for companies to survive in today’s competitive market, they must be able to tie product development to market demand. There is no room for guessing in today’s market. The Artemis solution delivers unprecedented capabilities that put stakeholders in the driver’s seat – eliminating guesswork when it comes to prioritizing and selecting products and executing cross-functional development projects. With over 600,000 users worldwide, Artemis has clearly demonstrated its leadership as a Product Portfolio Management (PPM) solution provider.”
In addition to adding a myriad of new customers, the company continues to grow its existing customer base through new user licenses at such organizations as Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Telecom Italia, Wachovia, Siemens, McData and others. The company also recently announced its latest version of Artemis 7, offering improved project management, enhanced idea management, and support for IBM’s DB2 database.
The company’s continued focus on real world business requirements allows it to develop solutions that provide immediate benefits to customers. Its emphasis on New Product Development solutions allow organizations to establish clear product goals and objectives that are linked to overall corporate strategy.
"Artemis Solutions help us to automate the Stage Gate process that is a primary R&D process in LG Chem,” said Keehyuk Lee, Manager Research Planning, LG Chem. “With the Artemis Solution, we can manage all processes from idea to commercialization including the strategic decision making process."
“Investment in innovation to capture market opportunity will be the main driver for PLM investment into 2006. With worldwide manufacturing productivity at an all-time historical high, manufacturers are now focused on growth through innovative products that meet market needs. However, innovation will come from both internal and external sources, requiring connectivity to extended product launch teams,” said Mike Burkett in the August 2005 AMR Research Report, The Product Lifecycle Management Applications Report, 2004–2009. “C-level demands for visibility and prioritization of innovation projects will drive investment in PPM applications. This application segment often draws investment from the nontraditional PLM buyer, preferred by C-level executives and program management offices responsible for insuring that product launches align with business objectives. This need to support executive-level decision making will drive PPM to achieve an 11% CAGR through 2009.”
The company will be showcasing its latest solution for new product development later this month as a key sponsor of the Product Development and Management Association 2005 International Conference at the Paradise Point Resort and Spa, San Diego, California.
